The internet is a worldwide network that you can research anything on. It helps people research information that they need for projects, assignments, or basic, common knowledge. Instead of having to go to the library to research information all they have to do is go on to the computer, open their web browser (internet), and go to a search engine, such as Google, ask, or live search, and then they look up what they need to know.

To some people the internet is one of the most important inventions ever. Some people’s whole lives are on the internet. On the internet you can chat with many other people on things called social networks. These allow you to look up friends that are on these social networks, and you can chat with them and message them. Chatting is called I.M.. That stands for instant messaging.

Internet is the key to success with many things. Some businesses our based off of the internet. Instead of going shopping at the store you can now go onto websites such as amazon or eBay, and order online, and have it shipped to your door. Other companies, such as clothing companies or electronic stores, have online websites where you can order their products online, and have delivered directly to your house. You can also play games online. There are websites designed specifically to play online games.

I think that it has both bettered the society and made it worse. The reason that it has worsened the society because people have become addicted to it. They have been addicted to the social networks on the internet and even online gaming has become an addiction. It has bettered the society by being able to research quickly for information. It has advanced more in technology so that has been helpful towards us. You can do all of your online billing, instead of having to waste and buy stamps to send your bills. You can even by cars over the internet. On the shopping website, eBay, there i a section designated to automobiles to bid on and purchase them. The only bad thing about online shopping, is you can not physically see the product that you are buying.

I think that we could be considered part of the Dumbest Generation. I think that they are right on their facts about our generation. However, I think that they are trying to drag it out as far as they can by saying we are lazy. I think that they are trying to say we are the laziest generation, but also truly mean it at the same time. I feel that this is finally a way for the generations before us to bag on us, sorta.

Yes, I think that the Internet and Video games have led to the stupefying of this generation. I think that the new technology coming out is trying to eliminate any work that we have to do in the future. I think that the more technology that comes out through the internet, the lazy people get. They tend to get caught up in all of the online games, instead of doing work or something productive. Point in case: People get so caught up on playing xbox. They literally wake up and go to bed playing games on xbox. They would rather sit there and play games, then go out there and do something productive in life like getting a job.

I think that if people stop coming out with more technology than we would not get sucked into all of the new technology. the more technology that comes out, the more stupid this generation gets. I think that they need to end some of the useless technology, because that is what we are getting stuck on. For instance: The Apple Ipad. That is basically useless for people that already have iPod touches. it is also defeating the purpose of the laptop. Preferably, I would rather have a laptop rather than the Ipad. I like the fact of having an actual key board and everything.

The keep calling us the stupidest generation ever, when, in fact, they are the ones that are contributing to our stupidness (if that makes sense). They could cut us all of but instead they encourage the useless technology, which there fore makes us like the technology too!!

There are over 2 million deaths per year caused by dehydration. Our goal: is to stop deaths of dehydration. We have researched and have been affected by the deaths caused by the fact of not having a simple necessity: water. Please join our cause in helping people in need of water.

Our website is www.recycleforlife.com. It is a website that teaches kids how to recycle. We want to teach them how to recycle when they are young, so that when they grow up it is just an instinct. We figured the only way to get kids to recycle was to make fun games teaching them how to recycle. We give water to people in need, in many different countries, for people who pass the games.

On this website, there are many different games with many different levels about recycling. There are 5 Different categories and for each of those levels there are different phases of difficulties. The 5 categories are: puzzles, trivia, matching, mathematics, and coloring. The difficulties are based on the age differences, obviously the higher age the more advance difficulty you choose. Every category is located on the home page. When you click on a category, you can choose from a different level. For each level or game you pass, you gain a point. The more points you gain, the more water you donate. The minimum amount of points to donate one bottle of water is 15. After every 15 points you gain it tells you how many bottles of water you have given to the people in need of fresh water.

The water is stored in our warehouse, which is located off of Van Buren Blvd. and Jurupa Ave. Most of our water is bought with the money from the cans and bottles that are recycled from people who have donated to our many recycling locations. One location for our donations is our main office building, which is located off of Van Buren Blvd. Another one of our main locations is in Fontana off of Cherry Ave. It is our big sponsor: Burrtec Waste Industries.

It is weird to see how far advance we have become with our technology. one of those ways is viewing the newspaper online. Many people would be amazed to see how far we have come. I think a big reason for this is because of our economy. Not a lot of people can afford the newspaper to be delivered to their houses, so they can go online and see it for “FREE.” I think that in doing this, they have gotten way more viewers. Mainly because it is instant. That is a big positive feature of having the newspaper online, but a fallback on a traditional paper is that they have to wait to publish a new article that could’ve happened overnight. Also, you can view videos on an online website, where as a traditional newspaper you only can see pictures. You can also sign up onto an online website, and they will send you instant updates via e-mail. On certain things you can also get updates forwarded to your phone. I think that another big pro is that you can view many different newspaper companies online, where you may only be able to get one traditional newspaper sent to your house.
I think that the future of news will be something that we cannot even fathom. The technology will be so realistic that it’ll make you fell like you were at the event when it occurred. I think for traditional newspapers to survive, they should cut the prices. I think that they need realize, that the majority of people read the news online because its a quick and simple way. What would i want to see happen with news? I would love to open up the paper and have a 3D image appear and show the entire event, so that you can see what really is going on in a 360 degree angle.

I use my cell phone for many different purposes. I use my phone mainly to keep in contact with my friends and family. I usually text on my phone, because I do not like to talk on the phone. At all. I use my phone to play games on it also.

My cell phone is capable of texting, calling, games, camera, internet access, calendar, calculator, stopwatch, and navigation. However, with all of those options, I do not use all of them. I mainly use texting, camera and games. i would use my camera on my phone, but 2.0 mega pixels is not alot, and quite frankly sucks.

I could use my cell phone for many things that would help me become a better person. i could look at my contacts and pray over everyone in it. I can also use it to forward prayer messages about people in need. I could use my calculator on my phone to help me in math. This would help me become a smarter person, which would help me be a better student. I could use my calendar to help me remember peoples birthdays or appointments that I have. This would be helpful for me so I do not have to bug my mom about when my appointments are. I can use my bluetooth capability to send study guides from my computer to my phone to help me study. I could also send pictures of study guides to people who do not have one.

I could help others in need with my phone also. Say you walking down the street. Then, all of the sudden you here a scream. You here someone yell “Call 9-1-1!” You would be helping the person by calling the cops to help someone in need. You could also use your phone to throw at someone’s head to knock them out if you saw them rob a store or steal and old lady’s purse. Using you phone could also help you become a better typer. Most phones now have a keyboard on them. The more you type on them, the more familiar you are with the location of the keys. This could help someone if they were to get a job as a secretary, bank teller, or a court stenographer. You have to be a very fast typer to have a job like that.

Some features in a phone that i would like to see in the future includes a speech-to-text capability. This would allow you to say sentences in to your microphone and it puts it into a text. That would be pretty cool. Also, a button that releases pepper spray when you are being attacked. That would be pretty amazing. My ideal cell phone would be a touch screen sidekick. A sidekick with all of the capabilities of an I-Phone.
